44BEATZCAST 26:02

44BEATZCAST 26:02 is a compelling 81‑minute showcase of musical innovation, blending shoegaze, rave, post‑punk, classic rock and electronic textures. Featuring legendary names such as Radiohead, Joy Division, U2, Robert Plant and Kasabian alongside pioneering voices like Andrew Weatherall, Slowdive and The Flaming Lips, the mix celebrates both heritage and experimentation.

26:03 is a statement of diversity and artistry, designed to captivate audiences across generations.

Opening with “Emancipation Garage” by The Woodleigh Research Facility & Andrew Weatherall, the mix establishes an experimental foundation before Slowdive’s “alife” introduces ethereal shoegaze textures. Radiohead’s “There There” intensifies the atmosphere, while Left/Right’s “Big Rave Energy” injects a surge of dancefloor vitality. The Jesus and Mary Chain’s “All Things Pass” and Joy Division’s “Love Will Tear Us Apart” anchor the set in post‑punk resonance, followed by The Who’s “I Can See For Miles” and Hawkwind’s “Waiting For Tomorrow”, which expand the journey into classic rock and cosmic psychedelia.

The momentum continues with U2’s “Bad (Live)” and The Mission’s “Tower of Strength”, both anthemic and soaring. Robert Plant’s “Up On the Hollow Hill (Understanding Arthur)” adds mythic depth, while Sinéad O’Connor’s “’Til I Whisper U Something” offers intimate reflection. Ian Brown’s “Just Like You” and The Soup Dragons’ “I’m Free” bring indie swagger and liberation, before Balaam and the Angel’s “Don’t Look Down” introduces gothic drama. Marianne Faithfull’s “Working Class Hero” grounds the mix with stark social commentary.

The closing sequence erupts with Kasabian’s “Club Foot”, a modern rock anthem, before Beth Orton’s “Anywhere (Two Lone Swordsmen Remix )” dissolves into electronic introspection. The Flaming Lips conclude with “You N Me Sellin’ Weed”, a surreal and playful finale. Across 81 minutes, 44BEATZCAST 26:02 traverses decades and genres, uniting experimental pioneers, iconic voices and contemporary innovators.
